Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to run The Claim Test and The Weekly Test:

• Email address when you subscribe to The Weekly Test.
• First-touch attribution data such as UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign, content, term), the landing path you arrived on, and your referrer URL. This helps us understand which content and campaigns bring subscribers.
• Limited Instagram interaction data when you interact with The Claim Test through supported Instagram features, such as commenting the keyword BRIEF. This may include the comment identifier and your Instagram account identifier needed to send a requested private reply.

We do not collect health information, browsing history beyond the items above, or any other personal information not described here.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Deliver The Weekly Test and related subscriber communications.
• Send requested signup information after qualifying Instagram interactions.
• Measure content-to-subscriber conversion and campaign performance.
• Prevent duplicate automated responses.
• Maintain security and reliability.

3. Service providers

We rely on trusted infrastructure and communications providers to operate The Claim Test. These may process information on our behalf and include providers for website and cloud infrastructure, email and newsletter delivery, Meta/Instagram services, and related technical services.

At this time, these providers include Lovable Cloud (website and data infrastructure), Kit (ConvertKit) (newsletter list management), Meta's Instagram API, and our transactional email service. We only share the minimum information required for each provider to perform its function.

4. Data sharing

The Claim Test does not sell personal information.

We share information with service providers only to the extent necessary to operate these functions, or when required by law or to protect our rights and users.

5. Instagram automation

When a user voluntarily uses a designated interaction such as commenting BRIEF, The Claim Test may use Meta's Instagram API to send the requested private reply.

The current automation is designed to retain only minimal identifiers needed for delivery, attribution, deduplication, and operational records. It does not use Instagram comments to generate individualized medical advice.

6. Cookies and attribution

We use limited browser and session storage, and cookies or similar technologies where technically necessary, to preserve campaign attribution (such as UTM parameters) through the signup process and to prevent duplicate responses.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels for ad targeting.

7. Data retention and deletion

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above and for applicable legal or operational requirements.

You may request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at hello@theclaimtest.com. We will respond in a reasonable timeframe and may need to verify your identity before processing the request.

8. Email

Subscribers can unsubscribe from newsletter emails at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism included in those emails. Transactional or service-related emails may not include an unsubscribe link where they are necessary to fulfill a request.

9. Medical disclaimer

The Claim Test provides educational information about scientific evidence. It does not provide individualized medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Personal health decisions should be discussed with an appropriate healthcare professional.

10. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
